The Sunfeast World 10K Bangalore 2010 is one of the world's most prestigious 10km runs. This event is promoted by Procam International, ratified by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), and conducted under the aegis of The Karnataka Amateur Athletics Association (KAAA).

Distance running events and charity
World-wide, distance running events have been gaining immense importance as fund raising platforms. In India, the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon and the Delhi half marathon have both raised crores of rupees for charity since inception.

An event like this is a wonderful trigger to do your bit for charity, since it symbolizes community spirit, melts all barriers and provides a unique platform for fund raising.

The Sunfeast World 10K Bangalore was launched in May 2008. The '08 and '09 events have together raised 1.75 crores for charitable causes. In fact, the May'09 event raised thrice the amount for charitable causes as May'08! May 2010 is its third year and we hope Bangalore shows its philanthropic mettle once again! 

Bangalore cares is the official charity partner to this event and will facilitate fund raising activities of registered charities.
